Where does one file bugs related to Github-the-platform? It is very hard to search for info about this since Github itself is used for filing bugs and all the info I can find is related to that.

(Their opengraph embeds for their wiki pages are broken and link to the wiki home page no matter what page you're linking.)

@darius "Contact GitHub" in the footer: support.github.com/
And you should have a "My tickets" link on the top-right.

Otherwise everything goes into github.com/orgs/community/disc

@darius

The link to "Product Feedback" ends up here: github.com/orgs/community/disc

If you've found a vulnerability, you can submit it to the Security Bug Bounty program: bounty.github.com

Ooh or maybe this is a Mastodon bug with parsing opengraph.... hmm, more research required

ok there is definitely an issue with how Github wikis structure their opengraph tags and I filed a bug. it's why all my links to github wiki pages render on Mastodon as preview cards with a link to the project home page (rather than the page I am trying to link!)

@darius I wonder if its related to how they don't get indexed by search engines

@darius This might be your best bet, github.com/community/community. They're not quite as opaque as Apple, but I wouldn't hold out much hope for a quick fix.

@darius You're welcome! It's confusingly hidden away under "contact us". 🤷

@darius Noooo this reminds me of when I'm trying to find a link to something /about/ Wikipedia, and everything that comes up is a Wikipedia article. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

@darius I think you just add it to the graph of That DMCA Repo Commit…
