@aWanderer @Mastodon You can do that in the web version. You’ll find the option in the β€’β€’β€’ menu next to an existing post. It opens an edit window with the existing text, which you can edit exactly as you might expect.

@aWanderer @Mastodon FWIW, it tends to have more features than the app versions (such as adding a background image in profiles). It’s also quite good, especially the mobile version for phones IMO (only tried Safari for iOS personally).
