@danhon @ja2ke I think they went with "publish" as the verb and "post" as the noun. Fair but also I like my little "Post!" button in Hometown

The ancient carnyx was a wind instrument of the Iron Age Celts, used between c. 200 BC and c. AD 200. It was a type of bronze trumpet with an elongated S shape, held so that the long straight central portion was vertical and the short mouthpiece end section and the much wider bell were horizontal in opposed directions. The bell was styled in the shape of an open-mouthed boar's, or other animal's, head.

The original Twttr logo, a horrible green abomination of 90s rave bubble typography with a ... Burst? Dribble? Who can say really? exploding from the side of the "r" like some half-baked experiment with Kai's Power Tools, 10 years after the plugin had faded from even the most hard-core dot-com boomer's memory.
