Gregory's Serverbasically, "Nordic" includes Iceland and Finland (and some Danish territories, apparently) whereas "Scandinavian" does not.

and the flag shape that is so common in the Nordic countries is called the Nordic cross and has its origins in the Dannebrog of Denmark.
