@koyu I've seen the "unable to mount root fs" error many times when trying to deploy LFS on my old lappy, and it drove me nuts for almost a day before I realized I had to compile the ATA driver for the laptop. I was used to it being an issue with the partition's UUID from the other times I cloned a Linux install.
