Gregory's ServerHoly hell the twitter exodus is **still** accelerating. The influx of new users is up about 33% from yesterday, our biggest day so far. We are now seeing over 1,300 new users every day on QOTO!

@magicaltrout We do have ways you can donate, and i can set you up with some of them. But we are very well funded from my own pocket and ive invested enough in the QOTO bank account to ensure we operate for years.  @freemo This is crazy eh, maybe Msck should buy facebook and we can be rid of that wreched platform too. @freemo Some people are finally getting over their lethargy enough to put frustration into action, some might have been triggered into action by an escalation of acting out by the new owner, and some might have been trying for a while but only now figured out enough about mastodon to make the jump. π May people find their free speech here, without subscription fee. :awesome: @freemo ... and that includes me after 12 years on Twitter ... the new owner's support of Trump's Republicans did it for me ... so hello Mastodon @nicklightbody Im surprised no one asked me if i support Trump or republicans... I really didn't encourage her participation on Twitter because I already knew how rough and tumble it is. She has panic and anxiety disorder severe enough to be a disability. She does NOT need... well, Twitter is as Twitter does. My hope is to get her plugged in with a good group of #grandma s, #knitting , #crochet , #heartdisease kind-hearted folks to help her through the long winter as she is largely housebound. I didn't bother trying on that other site. @freemo do you know if on Mastodon there's any way to direct message a person using E2E-E? |
