@stolas it was a graphical interface to the Lame mp3 encoder library, you just dropped an audio file on it and it either encoded to mp3 or decoded to wav depending on the file type you dropped in. there were lots of settings you could tweak but ultimately the UX was: drop a file on the widget, it puts a file in the original source directory in a different format
