Deleting the big four apps is hella scary because a lot of our genuine connections have been made on them. So do you lose those when you leave?

Kinda yeah. I am not in contact with as many people as I used to be. But. The prospects of something better can sometimes result in loss. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’™ Mental health has dramatically improved and the people I *want* in my life and who want me in theirs.. well we found each other outside of those platforms.

But the relationships that really matter... there's no reason they can't extend beyond corporate-owned walls!

We're back to Hume: what does 'tolerance' or 'intolerance' mean? Ask 20 people, you get 20 answers. Does it mean laissez faire? Does it mean hunt down and genocide?

Or does it mean don't bring that stuff in here? And don't sell them airtime that then gets thrust in my face as an advert...

Repression doesn't work. Historically it backfires. On the other hand, good fences make good neighbours.
