Danke! @Gargron I'm not sure you'll see this but I had a UX issue with Mastodon 4. here is a common situation, someone sends me a link to a mastodon profile. I click on it and it opens in my browser. since I'm not a member of the user's instance when I click Follow I used to get a pop-up that allowed me to enter my instance and follow. but now I get a cryptic (to me) modal that only links me back to the same user profile. useless if you're on web, but I guess in an app it would open.  @Gargron You have my sincere thanks and appreciation! Translate posts? Both in there with lots more @Gargron the registration process has to be become much easier. Choosing a server is confusing for novice users. Maybe the user can be offered to either be assigned to a random server or choose their own server. Reminds me of good old times when logging in IRC. DALnet had setup IRC.dal.net has a gateway to a random server and that was a big hit. @Gargron thanks for what you've built 🙏 What is the best way for new users to support you? Donations?
