People will always have complaints about how things could be improved but I believe accessibility is the one thing you gotta nail and do right. @Gargron @zeitschlag are y'all ready for the potential surge of new users? that new king of the birdapp just cut it's it services by a lot, it will likely get more busy during the next few days and weeks here :) @Gargron @zeitschlag "app" as in a downloadable thingie? Didn't know that existed, am using the web app. On to the app store π @Gargron @zeitschlag I wonder if you can make it so that on Android, Mastodon remembers where I last was when I refresh so that I don't have to scroll down to find where I left off? @Gargron @zeitschlag Oh wow how cool is that! If you like, we could go over some of the VoiceOver problems at some point and maybe iron them out together. I could even provide code reviews. I just cannot code myself very well. I would like to see an option to put pictures at the top, then put text and # underneath the picture. I like very much that we are able to show long pictures at Mastodon btw, it's great for artists. Also, the space between pictures and the space on the sides of the screen looks nicer on the web interface than on the app imo (just some details I have been thinking about). π @Gargron @zeitschlag thatβs great. Focus on iOS is very much needed for success in US market π  @Gargron @zeitschlag I would pay $8 for you to go to war with Elon. Bear that in mind, please and thanks for your hard work! @Gargron @zeitschlag maybe you could go on a hiring spree over in the Valley. I heard thereβs gonna be a surplus of capable developers looking for a job today.  @Gargron @zeitschlag If you need some beta testers in TestFlight for @Mastodon then let me know! I already use the iPhone & iPad Apps (I love them!), & I can test it in the beta iOS/iPadOS too!   @Gargron @zeitschlag @Gargron @zeitschlag also can I just add, when people write reviews on the App Store, all should be added, not just a select few. |
@Gargron @zeitschlag I really hope the "no way to recover a draft that failed to publish" issue is high on his list. It was particularly painful during the 8 core database server days of late. ;)
