@Gargron I can’t find anyone I know on here - I have their account names but it isn’t working for me @Gargron According to @mastodonusercount Mastodon has about 5.8 million accounts total. Is this correct and the majority of the accounts are not active? Or is this not a good source for mastodon numbers? What would be a better one that tracks all of the instances and not just a few?  @Gargron There must be *so* many more by now. Three days in Musky era = $44 billions burning in a dumpster and 250k+ new users here. :)  @Gargron the stats are impressive. What's more impressive is that my tiny instance gets the traffic spike, even though it just so happens that I'm not interacting much with people who are over at mastodon.social. It's truly a proof that federation works.
