Gregory's Server@Gargron This time it all feels a little different. I see more people starting to acknowledge that the corporate social media model is actually faltering, and is unsustainable. It's up to us to support more ethical technologies and smaller communities that protect the interests of regular people.

@weka @Gargron Sure! No corporate surveillance, no ads, no tracking or data harvesting. It's not a purchasable for-profit entity, so it's not subject to the policies or political whims of shareholders or whichever billionaires happen to currently own the platform. Also doesn't lock you down to any particular instance, as you can take your followers with you if you decide to move your account to a different server.  |
