@pixelfed @chris You can browse and interact with Pixelfed accounts using your Mastodon account! No need to create an account on Pixelfed.

@ilyess @pixelfed I know that. It is more about finding people. On mastodon I have some public posts I can see on other instances but I can't seem to find something similar on Pixelfed

@chris I see what you're saying. I haven't seen any instance that allows that. Not even sure it's possible. I'll let @pixelfed answer this one.

@pixelfed @cehwitham I don’t think there’s a notion of linking accounts but you can use your Mastodon account to interact with Pixelfed accounts.

@cehwitham @ilyess @pixelfed To post photos on a Pixelfed server, you need a Pixelfed account. You can follow people on Pixelfed using your mastodon account.

@cehwitham Nope. Here's a #Pixelfed user I picked randomly @raelovejoy. You should be able to access their profile and follow/like/comment all from your Mastodon account.

@pixelfed installed the iOS app on my iphone. tried to sign in to mstdn.social but nothing happens. From comments looks like I don’t need pixelfed acct? Do I need pixelfed acct to share photos and videos.
