So I've figured out what keeps crashing Mastodon. It's something in my TL from someone I'm following!
Once the TL scrolls enough to get it out of what is loaded, I can use Mastodon again!
I'm not sure what the offending post is tho

@ocean Apparently it's something that's even present in 3.2.1! I currently do not know what it is.

It's good to hear that it's not just me though! As I'm running Firefox ESR so I feel like any time something like this happens it's my fault lol
