@rune well they seem to have Paul Freeze working on it now full time and he is actually been behind a ton of stuff. I dont know how separate of an entity they have managed to make it realistically but with elon quickly getting in the twitter picture they may be close to distancing themselves from twitter further "The server-to-server APIs enable federation, event delivery, and global indexing" so global state eh? how is this gonna work with diverse moderation... so yeah they sorta hand-wave away how moderation works  @liaizon@social.wake.st that seems fairly reasonable to me? i'm inferring that consumers/aggregators would decide what content to display based on some arbitrary criteria. it makes sense to me to delegate it to the edges. i think.. @staltz already has a little response thread up over there: https://twitter.com/andrestaltz/status/1582448952057958401 @liaizon interesting that they have algorithm marketplaces instead of defaulting to chronological @liaizon found the only mention. Pretty thin. The highlighted part is where i think they plan for monetary exploitation to happen.   |
