@Gargron Like, I ask you legitimate questions that more than enough people want answers from, and you write it off as if this is just me being pissed off. No, you don't get to pretend something you did is good just because someone you don't like brings it up. Again: this is of your own doing. The rumors probably won't stop until you are done developing and out of the public eye.

@coyote I mean, you're basically infowars-levels of deluded, you kinda have to dig yourself out of this one yourself

@Gargron ecks dee speak for yourself my dude, I've seen you ban multiple Venezuelans because they disagreed with your opinion of their country and you dogpiled them calling them "Nazis"

don't talk to me of truth or of principles, you're far from exemplary.
Eugen Rochko

@coyote Yeah, that never happened. For one, I do not have any particular opinions on Venezuela and Nicolas Maduro keeps happily posting on mastodon.social along with his thousands of followers. Secondly, there is exactly one post authored by me that contains the word "nazi", and it is from 2016. Thirdly, I don't ban anyone, because that's the job of the 3 moderators who work here.

@Gargron You implied he was dogwhistling and he was banned after replying to your praise of Venezuela. I understand you may not remember this, but I do. I believe you when you say you don't mod, that actually makes sense, but what I'm actually curious about is EUnomia, I wasn't saying this for any reason but to prove you wrong.

@coyote When have I ever praised Venezuela either? Do you have any receipts I am genuinely curious now.

Eunomia is a cool project that has nothing in common with spying or credit scores. It’s like a helper toolkit for your home feed to get more context for posts according to your own criteria. It is also completely walled off from the actual fediverse so nobody who hasn’t consented participates in it. I suggest following its account for updates and more information.

You're a lying cunt, you nigger-faggot piece of shit.

>EUNOMIA is a 3-year EU-funded Innovation Action project. Its goal is to assist users of social media to:
>
> - Identify the provenance of information;
> - Assess online information and
> - Protect their network from misinformation.
>
>The project develops a decentralised and open-source solution for social media users to raise awareness and enable active participation in the trustworthiness verification process.

So this has everything to do with social credit scores, with trustworthiness of users, and with spying on people.

again from your own website, eunomia.social it talks about fighting misinformation:

> The challenge of the infodemic
> Misinformation is a societal challenge with multiple layers. We argue that all social media users can adopt information hygiene routines to protect themselves and their network against the 'infodemic’ of rapidly spreading misinformation. Information hygiene is not the same as guidelines for detecting fake news. To use the medical analogy, hygiene is not about actively looking for pathogens, but about routines that reduce the risk of infection on a daily basis. Similarly, we define information hygiene as the practice of following daily routines that reduce the risk of acting upon and sharing misinformation to one’s network.

So by creating a trustworthiness (social credit) score, users can submit themselves to the botnet of EUnomia to have their posts analyzed for factuality and correctness. I don't see how what you're doing isn't lying.
