I've updated mastodon.social and mastodon.online to the latest code in the main branch. You can follow hashtags, translate posts, and the UI is the same for logged in and logged out users (though keep in mind the logged out version is not entirely complete).

In the last wave, people kept asking where the translate button was, so clearly a lot of people expect it to be built in.

@ToadKing DeepL. The translation feature only shows up for public posts. Other backends are available for other admins, e.g. LibreTranslate.

@Gargron When you have URLs, Hashtags, "Show Thread", etc. in a post, the "Translate" button can't distinguish itself from other hyperlinks. You might consider relocating the "Translate" button to somewhere else. It would improve the UX.
