@Gargron running is fantastic for cardiovascular health and it gets me out of the house for a while which is nice in covid times.

@Gargron fwiw, maintenance is much cheaper than gains – compared to gaining muscle/endurance/etc, maintenance only requires a small percentage of the stimulus. depending on what you train, 4 weeks could well be in the realm of what you can bridge with yt programs (etc) at home.

but re closure of gyms etc: 3 weeks late, but i’ll take it. as far as i’m concerned, best news we’ve had in a long, long time.

@Gargron I am not sure what you situation is but almost a year ago (there was no covid-19 know yet) I decided to get a training bike for at home (hometrainer without wheels). Whenever I want I can take a turn on it and make sure lazy moist is burned.

I did buy one at a second hand shop first to see if it was something for me.

@Gargron There's something on the Nintendo Switch called "Jump Rope Challenge" that's 100% free. it's fun.

@Gargron my gym published 10+ YouTube videos with replacement workouts for every machine. It’s perfect for at least holding the status quo. No prob.
