Gregory's ServerThe consul/consul-template stuff I've done has paid off as I had to quickly promote the PostgreSQL hot standby to primary when I woke up today. The previous primary was almost entirely unresponsive with 80% iowait, now up to 99% iowait.

That machine must be cursed. It was unstable before, but Hetzner support investigated it and didn't find anything faulty. I believe they even replaced the drives once for me.
