Gregory's ServerI think there's a real emotional pain that people go through when they see someone they can't actually help, and it can sometimes make people do weird, antisocial things bc our society is powerfully antisocial.
It is a real thing, but nobody should be expected to value it over the pain of the person being deprived.
I know it sucks to feel powerless in the face of suffering, but fuck you if your answer for that is to ask people to go away and suffer someplace you can't see or hear
