A few improvements to our #pixelfedApp before the upcoming beta release! 🚀

  @pixelfed would be nice to have dismiss buttons on the popular and trending sections for people who dont need them or for instances that they dont apply to like single user ones. also normalization of how you display usernames. the popular posts part you have '@username' and the popular accounts has it as "name" with no @ also might be good to test this with remote accounts to save room for @username@instance.tld @pixelfed@mastodon.social is there any reason behind separating discover and search?  @pixelfed I am looking forward to this! Also, will it be a Beta via TestFlight, or will the app be publcally released on iOS/Android‽ I have an iPhone but I assume an official Android app will also be released as well (I think there is a third party Pixelfed app on Android already). @pixelfed Sweet! Where do we sign up‽ Oh, if in the future when (I hope & pray) you launch a Pixelfed hosting service, let me know as I definately will be a client/customer. |
@pixelfed merge search and discover by putting a sticky search bar at the bottom of that screen
replace the search tab with notifications or activity
