@dantheclamman Agreed, though if one sorts by upper limit (ascending) then it's month (upper limit: 12), day (upper limit: 31), and then year (bigger than 31). On that dimension, the US order is a triangle. Because of how files are usually sorted, year-mo-day, results in a nice chronological order so that's usually what I use.
