@cwebber @lain I’m going to wager that most gains are in the DNS/TLS handshake and not in headers. Mastodon’s delivery performance literally doubled when I added keep-alive multiplexing.

@Gargron @cwebber @lain Does federation already use HTTP/2 multiplexing capabilities, and has this significantly improved performance?

Could be interesting for #Hash2Pub at some point, whne multiple posts need to be fetched at once from an instance without having to specify a new API endpoint allowing that.
