I messed around with logins and did both a mastodon and a pixelfed accounts.
Then, while still trying to understand the basics of fediverse, I deleted pixelfed account.Stupid move.
Now it is impossible to activate it again.
I understand that it's a security feature to prevent name stealing but I should be allowed to activate it again if both my username AND email are the same as the original account.
I bet it could be a common issue.

@BlurredPixels @pixelfed @schykle You could just make another Pixelfed account at a different instance! That way you can use whatever account name you want.
You don't have to make an account at the main Pixelfed instance, in fact it's better to spread the user load by having many medium-sized instances! See here for more info: https://fedi.tips/which-server-should-i-join-how-do-i-find-out-more-about-a-server/
