With mobile Delta Chat apps, a chatmail web site allows users to click a link to create an instant chatmail profile without asking any personal data. No permission needed from Delta Chat developers to run a server, and we never learn e-mail or IP addresses from their users.

@delta @adam_jurkiewicz The website doesn't look serious and every non tech person might avoid it, but the concept behind it is super cool and it could help people to have more secure and private communication.

@utopify_org @adam_jurkiewicz as with the #fediverse #chatmail servers have different takes and designs and also different target groups and that is very fine with us. After all, a single chatmail server can not carry the load of hosting the general public alone, anyway. What is probably more "general public" targetted and needs serious work are our various app stores presences.
