Gregory's Server@signalapp As Signal is popping up on my feed at the moment, are there any good 'technical' reasons for using Signal over Threema (currently used)?
(Not interested in whether somebody may/not be willing to pay)

 @motiondetected @signalapp I am using both and miss message editing, deleting after sending and deletion after x amount of time in threema. Not using any of the (video) call features but I guess it's better on signal as well. Better and faster security implementation. Signal created the Signal protocol and implemented quantum protection |

Not having to convince people to pay, getting people to switch messaging app is hard enough.
(Nothing against Threema, it's a small fee for a great app, but even that's too much for many people.)
