Elena Rossini ⁂

Travel day today: we are going back to Paris after spending time with my family in Italy.

A shout-out to parents and caretakers - those in charge of packing for others. There’s not enough said about the invisible work they do, combing through each room of the house, making sure they don’t leave behind something that it’s important for their beloved person.

All plushies and comfort blankies = packed. Ditto for books and LEGO minifigs (I hope) 😅

@dansup only because YOU asked Dan. I wouldn’t take stuff out of a packed bag for anyone else 😆

A photo showing numerous LEGO minifigs scattered on a bed, including Santa, his wife, an elf, two Spider Man, Ghost Spider, Green Goblin, and at the bottom, 3 minifigs representing our family (me, husband, daughter). Plus a LEGO golden retriever and a rabbit plushie

@dansup Aw those are just our traveling minifigs - we have so many more at home in Paris (two generations of LEGO fans).

You made me think it’d be fun to create a LEGO scene representing Fediverse / ActivityPub legends (aka, you, Evan, Christine, Eugen, Chee Aun etc.). I may do it soon 🤗

@dansup ok so I’m totally doing it (it may take time) and I’d be happy to also *send* you a mini version with you at work, coding

@dansup consider it done Dan!

And here is a sample scene I made years ago showing “me” editing films (took the pic back when I was still a full time director / editor, while packing to move house)

The photo of a LEGO scene, showing a long haired female character sitting in front of a large screen, with film reels below and a couple of golden awards on top of the screen

@dansup I could make a vignette big enough for your boyfriend, dog and cat too.

I’ve never seen any LEGO dogs / cats that look like yours - so maybe I’ll need to get something from Playmobil for your pets (spoken from experience, I did something like this for my in-laws in the past) 😅
