@nixCraft
I've found that you better quit using Firefox., too
They have stopped offering the "Do Not Track" options.
There's a fork named #LibreWolf, you ca use instead.
@snagburz@nixCraft DNT is and was never a protection. The website decides how to respond to this flag. If they want or not want to respect your wish not to be tracked. I bet the most sites ignore how it is set. For me its not a criteria choosing a browser. And dont forget to seperate Desktop and mobile. I really like Firefox based browsers but when unsing Android, sandboxing is still better in Chromium based ones. Not an unimportant fact.
@snagburz@nixCraft DNT was dropped because it ended up being a tracking vector itself (another bit of fingerprinting information) and nobody honored it. If you want to stop tracking you have to block it forcefully (UBO) not ask politely.

They removed Do Not Track because the toggle did absolutely nothing. Actually, it offered a way for websites to actually track the users even further. So them removing the option was actually a good thing. Though I agree with the sentiment that Librewolf is a better option these days. I don't like Mozilla at all.
