From an Iranian colleague:

"Iran has been effectively shut down for the third consecutive day. Government offices and some institutions, including schools, remain closed. The primary cause is the ongoing energy crisis, particularly issues in electricity and gas production. Reports of scattered protests have emerged. Power outages have disrupted internet services, and even SnappFood, the local equivalent of Uber Eats, has gone offline due to a lack of power at its data center.

There are reports of people being trapped in elevators and facing serious disruptions in accessing medical services. This has sparked widespread dissatisfaction, with some suggesting that if Pezeshkian fails to address the crisis in the coming months, he should step down. While I find it unlikely that this will happen, it's worth noting that these criticisms are coming from his own supporters"
