I would really love to work in the music industry again if anyone has a jonty-shaped hole.

I was part of the early last.fm team and miss it dearly. Music is my happy place, especially live music.

@jonty I saw a couple of recent roles at Apple for music streaming / radio backend and infra - might be worth reaching out to matthias or mark in ML if you could tolerate being corporate

@cms It's tempting. Slightly worried about it because Apple has destroyed a few friends, but I've heard the UK cloudy team is better.

@jonty yes well, i decided they'd a) never hire me, and also b) I'd self destruct inside that culture, but it works for some people, anyway you could hit up the ex-MIR people directly and ask, wouldn't hurt to put out a feeler.
