@AlinaLeonova It makes sense yes, but for many people like me, I think the obligation to do it is high because of our sense of justice, and as the same time often some restrain themselves to share pictures when they donβt have the spoons to alt text and/or to ask for help (I do). Not sure if I make sense. Itβs complicated. ππ(This is based on posts I have read in the autistic community). @adelinej I understand 𧑠Thank you for doing what you can and try to not be hard on yourself. I get that the sense of justice can get in the way though, I also have that. Iβm not autistic but perhaps my ADHD plays a role in it too. @AlinaLeonova I agree, but itβs hard to not be harsh on myself when there are so many messages criticizing the absence of alt text, ignoring that it can very difficult for some people to produce oneβ¦ π |
@adelinej Itβs great that there are people who will help, and it makes sense that not everyone can do it 𧑠Adding the hashtag to ask for help counts just as much as adding alt-text yourself in my book!
