@MischievousTomato @a1ba @iska @lanodan Yeah but if you (read: ๐Ÿคฎ d*veloper ๐Ÿคฎ) were going to be a stubborn asshole and pick one packaging method for the entirety of GNU/Linux, I'd at least prefer the one I can download and throw into $PATH and not have to do any dumbass aliasing to get working.
Guess that's just me though, everyone else seems to be happy installing shit on their Decks through the KDE whatever store. I love having to go in and fuck around with the Big Picture interface that doesn't scroll with long commands properly to figure out what any particular non-Steam /usr/bin/flatpak application is because there's only ten fucking gorllion long flags involved in that fucking shit.

@MischievousTomato @a1ba @iska @lanodan And just so you know I'm not kidding: look at this fucking shit and tell me it's an acceptable way to launch an application.
(Also pop quiz: which one of the Pokemon Yellow ROMs that I have downloaded is this? Spoiler alert: you can't use the <- or -> keys on the keyboard to find out, you have to swipe with your finger on the touchscreen. Thanks Valve.)

It's always two steps forward and one step back with these fucking people. At least it does a really good job at being a gay baby jail for proprietary software.
