I started out wanting to be a print journalist. Television has always seemed to be for slow people to me. It's a bias and bigotry, I admit, but I can't sit still for that jive.
WSJ is still good, NYT is great for human interest stories, NPR has the best format, buuuut I mostly read Science Direct, NY Post, and the Daily Fail.
@amerika NYTs def has good features - esp on the arts & books. I don't read any of them anymore - hubby fills me in. Every print media has been captured including local newspapers. Depressing. All my "real" news now comes from indies I do love the Brit tabloids tho
