@Gotterdammerung @bsky.brid.gy Yeah, there are drawbacks. Yeah, not everyone will go. But it's something. Or do they have to opt in to the bridge to even see the posts? @RanaldClouston @bsky.brid.gy If only you are bridged, you can view their reply on your BlueSky page - but since you can't really log in, you can't answer direct. So, encourage them to bridge if they want to communicate with you. @realtegan @bsky.brid.gy Although I use it (and generally appreciate how simple it is to set up), I noticed recently that I don't get notified if someone on Bsky who isn't bridged likes a bridged Masto post of mine. I haven't tested this in reverse yet though. @realtegan @bsky.brid.gy yep I am using this bridging tool for BlueSky but one drawback is that the character limit is different. Here it's 500 but BlueSky caps at 300. So anything I toot over 300 is truncated.
