@darth@silversword.online this watch nerd is really happy to see that Timex still does ads like this 🥹 @darth@silversword.online my brain split this up for some reason: know the time without seeing. You have 1249 unanswered emails. @darth Ngl, I don't like analog clocks and watches, because they take too much mental effort to read. There are a few low budget models that go for less. I recently got a similar one, but all in black/dark gray plastic at around 16 USD. Maybe that's more accessible? @sugarsh0t @darth @tofu they have models that go down to $20 or $30 if you're okay with a plastic strap/casing instead of metal @darth but why do ppl have 1249 unanswered emails? i feel like that's the real problem, not knowing the emails are there won't make them go away. @bgrinter @drahardja I could argue that going smartwatch was going backwards. It is so mentally exhausting. But then you realize you have heart issues and having a basic ECG handy is not so bad. I agree. I hate my smart watch too but I use it because of heart problems. My preferred timepiece is a Hamilton Khaki Field Officer. @Ericthebeeover2 @bgrinter @drahardja you too? Sorry to hear. That Hamilton looks clean, I like self winding models. @darth @drahardja same - for me it’s general health and fitness. As I get older the doctor reminds me to keep active and eat better so it’s more a health watch than anything smart watch @bgrinter @drahardja I might get a Withings Scanwatch Nova someday, but it’s a bit pricey. I am not a fan of charging all the time so Withings would help with that and it looks like a watch :-) @mattesilver @bgrinter @drahardja there is a lot of mental health issues in the world right now as well. this is tightly connected and can't just be fixed with: "start living healthy as a decision". In theory it can, in practice not very easy. @mattesilver @darth @drahardja @darth Funny, more or less for that exact reason I switched back to a regular watch a couple of months ago. @mrak oh, I know. I’ve head genuine leather straps and they have their expiration date, so to speak. @shellsharks @h4sh thanks for the like! I haxxxed my Apple Watch in the same way :drake_like: |
@darth The only problem is that now I know I have 1,249 unanswered calls thanks to them. Darn it.
