@fedicat hey there, I just downloaded the TestFlight to try it out as I found this account via this reply, and I noticed I can't find the button for viewing my own profile without finding another page where my profile is included. It would be helpful to have a button to view my own profile, as well as my own likes, boosts and bookmarks.

@jj hi thanks for trying it out! there are two menu options to view your own profile, on the left top menu and the My submenu in the center top menu

@jj It does look like it's not detecting your logged in account, that's why those submenus are not showing up. Also, you're on gotosocial 0.16? Any plans to update to 0.17?

@jj I just tried a fresh login into an akkoma account and the My timeline menu shows up but the Profile menu on the left doesn't, so there is an issue here. I'll look into it, thanks!

@jj I fixed it in akkoma (will be in the next build), don't know if it's the exact same problem you're seeing but probably same type of bug, a problem decoding the session's account (in the Mastodon API it's CredentialAccount which has more info than other users' accounts), which is also why your account avatar isn't showing up at the top left like it should). In the akkoma case, there are some extra fields defined by pleroma but akkoma and pleroma differ a little bit.
