Gregory's ServerI saw somebody picking up cans and bottles today, and he had a really special wheeled grocery bag. I asked him if he made it himself, and he said that his neighbor made it for him.

 @dillyd I'm very moved by how special this item is. Thanks for noticing it and asking about it!!   @dillyd That is an astounding revival of a wheeled grocery cart! In the 1970s we used to make things out of all sorts of other things. One of the things that I loved was some neighbors made was a full-sized volleyball net made out of those plastic six pack can rings that kill sea creatures. I still have a couple of craft books from the 1970s called "Making Things" that are all about upcycling trash this way. I think we need to start doing this again. Just realized I could have used my CoolNeighbor tag. His neighbor is as cool as my neighbor who made the acorn figures for my rock garden. It's especially reassuring to have those cool neighbors now. And to try to be cool neighbors, ourselves.    @dillyd that was a BIG fashion trend in Brazil one or two decades ago for purses, I bet you can still find some inspo if you look around the internet.    |
