@mho @heiseonline you mentioned the number of followers being 1/4 of #twitter. But that's one good thing about #mastodon /#fediverse , you actually don't need to follow an account in order to have access to their (popular) posts. Number of followers here (unlike Twitter) doesn't directly influence your posts being reachable or accessible, it's the content/quality of your posts that make it shared 👍

@mho @heiseonline On a recent Dot Social episode @mike interviewed @404mediaco and they mentioned that the amount of money the ratio of followers-money received is significantly higher coming via their Fediverse accounts.
