But the depths of reactionary, exclusionary politics in the US are apparently very deep indeed. And I don't know how we start to address it.
@jezebelkat No idea how to fix that either, it’s not even that people didn’t know better, it’s that they CHOSE to believe what best suited them, no matter the facts or the reality.
Such denial is basically irreparable, I think. I’d be surprised if the USA didn’t implode I to multiple countries in the future. I don’t see this rift ever healing :/
