You see they've replaced K9 with the beta version of Thunderbird if you search K9 ?
Kate

@neil pretty cool mozilla is actually doing something useful these days. i'm still not going to install it, but just because i don't want to deal with emails and notifications on my phone (used k-9 in the past already) 😅

@neil just installed and imported from k9, works perfectly for me 🙏

Interesting. If I follow your links via a web browser, I am taken to the expected page. But if I open them via the F-Droid (Android) app, they fail saying no such app.

Similarly a search in the F-Droid app for Thunderbird still returns no results.

@neil

Belay that. Just forced an update of the repositories and it's there now.

@neil I used Neo store client to install Thunderbird for Android onto my GOS pixel device tonight. I had been using FairEmail app but always liked k9

Thomas

@neil Cant find app, including the beta. :(

@neil
As much as I like Thunderbird on Linux I really don't like the direction K9 has gone since Thunderbird took over 😕

They changed the interface for multiple accounts and I still hate the new one after getting used to it. It's also a lot slower then it used to be.... The reply buttons/actions are annoying.... It's a lot of little things that just make it a far less appealing app than it used to be.
