You too can partake in alexandrian worship from the comfort of your own home, step one: build a massive NAS...

Cracking anti-piracy and anti-tamper on software for archival reasons is an alexandrian ritual and is thus a protected religious freedom.

alexandrianists believe in no gods, only the belief in free and open access of information to all.

alexandrianists also believe that an individuals right to privacy and the need to archive all the things can coexist, and that archiving personally identifying information requires consent of the individual.

(basically if you're gonna dox someone, or do a leak or something that hasn't been sufficiently/reasonably stripped of personally identifiable information, you're a huge fucking tool. shame on you.)

if the religion had a logo itd probably be a triangle (pyramid) with an owl reading a book over it.

idk why it just seems kinda cool. first thing that came to mind. owls are cool.

you can "bless" your home library or NAS as an official house of worship by placing a sticker of the alexandrianist logo on the case/door.

yes i am absolutely going to keep going with this bit because the more i think about it the more it makes sense. if the late stage capitalists wanna tear down libraries and other institutions and prevent free and open access to information, then we we might as well use their own shitty system against them.

also how on brand for it would it be if the alexandrianism logo was made from royalty free clip art? 🤔🤣

if i commit to the bit id probably just get a nice once commissioned and CC0 "licensed"

banning books would also be against the tenants of alexandrianism as well, so confiscation or banning of literature from houses of worship (libraries) or from member students in schools would be a violation of religious beliefs.
