Both Vtubing scene and Idol culture have complete control over the entertainers lives, dictating when they train and what they train at, what kind of content they do, when they do it, and yet they both expect their employees to be called "talents" who "perform" for agency rather than working at the agency and when their contract is terminated they are "graduating" instead of being fired from their job (like I already told this 2 or 3 times).
And I'm not implying that people do not realise that "graduating" is a euphemism and what exactly is this euphemism for, but the specific usage of the word as well as manufactured mythology surrounding it kind of disarm the concept of losing your job to the point where people are getting sad and emotional over parting with their oishi instead of being reasonably mad and emotional over a human being possibly being cut off from food and shelter for an indeterminate amount of time.
