 @anarodrigues hubs and I have home office spaces 2 floors apart (we have a tall and narrow semi-detached with a basement and attic room) and can both close doors to both rooms. So home is very chill. It's very different when we actually have kids home and are trying to work, hahaha. Yes then it's often overload, kid comes over and mugs for the camera during meetings or shouts just as I unmuted myself! Cube farm vast offices suck. Echoey, a little bit too cold, hearing every conversation. |
@sarajw I never worked in a cube to be fair. How different is it from having your own office at home?
Open plans at home really burn me out. Cooking, fan on, timers, machines making noise, TV, family chatting through all this, TV louder as result etc 😂
