Is there a place to donate toward the server?

I think it could be cool to have a crypto-currency fueled server, where if the people want it up, they need to continue sending some money to a specific address.

Would the cost go down if Mastodon were written in a compiled or more optimized language? I saw it's written in a combination of Ruby and NodeJS.
