@partnano When launching on Linux, usually these are labelled, guessing it's asking if I want to launch the Linux bin or the Windows exe.

Bernie Wick

@tripplehelix ah damn, I'm sorry!
I removed the Linux launch options for now, as they are really experimental (as I don't have great testing possibilities rn)

They will be enabled (and properly marked on the store page) at some point though!

Tom

@partnano Yea, what ever that first option is just crashes out without any details.

Bernie Wick

@tripplehelix Probably the experimental linux export haha
I thought it wouldn't be a problem to leave the launch option in, as linux is marked both unavailable in the steam app and store settings, but alas

@partnano A bit of feedback after playing for half an hour.

- Needs custom controls, not everyone has a left hand.
- The main gameplay needs a low dexterity option, missions include getting all perfects, I struggle even getting goods. This would be difficult for anyone on certain medication or dexterity issues.
- It's only been 30 minutes and my left hand hurts from constant DDR. I get very tense when playing rhythm games, which causes RSI quickly.

@partnano - Birdman isn't happy, even though I've given him two tea houses. Might be an issue with me not finding the exact spot he wants his house built in. I was never told I could build outside the fenced area.

Otherwise, it's a nice little game. The DDR does take away from it a bit.

Absolutely love the art, really is awesome.

@tripplehelix Absolutely fair feedback! Thank you very much.

@partnano@gamedev.place Oh and saving whenever would be nice if it doesn't break gameplay. I'm guessing it saves after each day, which seems to be a pretty long time.

Edit: Finished the day. Ah, OK, that explains that.

Bernie Wick replied to Tom

@tripplehelix The game was so much shorter even a few weeks ago, so that saving never really made the to-do list. It thought about it quite a bit, but in the end decided against full on level saving for the sake of finally releasing the thing. 😅
Maybe I'll add it in a patch, if more people really want it :)

These are the Linux bin files that work. Seems what ever the first option is, is the Windows EXE files which weren't even downloaded?

Or not.... those files run under wine and when run straight.

Bernie Wick

@tripplehelix I honestly don't know what happened, as the Linux downloads shouldn't be enabled, but these are the mysteries of the Steamworks backend. I've tested it on multiple machines (thoguh macos and windows only) and it worked without issues on those ... will investigate the Linux side of things soon!

Thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback!
