Dahlia toot for today.
These are from my daughter's garden this afternoon. She said she would share the giant pinky lavender one with me next year. Yay!

I don't do dahlias here in NY, because they have to be dug up each fall, dried and packed in peat or sphagnum moss, and replanted each spring... and - nah. Wish I could afford a gardener!!!

My daughter cuts open a bag of Ocean Forest potting soil and stores the tubers in the soil. That's my plan for the ones I keep this year.
