Gregory's Server@opalmirror @EdCates I would image so! I was like 7 at the time and we didn't have a computer, so I'll take your word on Usenet, because people have been awful forever. I was referring to the comic itself being only 10, but time is meaningless and both creeps and flashes by.
@shadyspotlight @EdCates We didn't call them sea lions at that time... The sea lion comic perfectly explained the problem of these exhaustive trolls though and the name stuck.... definitely moved online life forward by naming the behavior.
