Updated to Plasma 6.2 on Fedora on my AMD+Nvidia laptop, and it has very noticeable lags, though non-KDE apps seem ok

I hope this will be fixed ASAP

Update: I am usually using external monitors (which afaik are entirely hadled by discrete GPU) but now I switched to laptop's display and now it doesn't lag. Another clue?

I'm not feeling brave enough to leave a verbose bug report though.

Got a new version of kwin 6.2.0-2.fc40 from @fedora, changelog doesn't look really promising (I tried disabling triple buffering already) but I'll give it a try.

Backport patches from upstream

    Disable triple buffering with NVIDIA
Fall back to an overlay plane if no cursor plane is available

Btw it's funny that the biggest pain point for me is KPatience, as it also lags
