(I HAVE been following the whole thing as a former Wordpress consultant who hasn't worked with either Automattic or WP Engine and there's a huge difference between "not entirely incorrect" and the ... absolute unhinged set of actions that Matt's been doing. Also turning off Revisions is a very rational choice supported by wp-config.php, one I've done for years before finally leaving WP for static sites.)

@collectifission @tante Read the blog mentioned above. While the point *may* be valid, the way this is going down is absolutely not OK. A child may kick your shin while playing, but you don't shove them into a canyon for that (Bad example, I know but that's how I interpreted the story)

@collectifission @tante Yeah, this sucks, considering that I use a private WP blog for my writing, which involves lots of revisions.
