Gregory's Server@tante do you have a trustworthy writedown of what is actually happening there? I tried to understand that around a week ago but what I read from the wordpress guy didn't sound too unreasonable, but apparently I'm missing something and since that whole debate appears highly emotionally charged presumably most sources are strongly biased in one direction or the other.

 @boscoandpeck @tante what shocks me most is the blatant disregard of what ostensibly are separations created to prevent exactly what is happening right now. In all seriousness, obfuscating power reach like that should automatically carry jail scentence, monetary punishment is not enough to disincentivize others from doing the same @DJGummikuh @tante sadly, it won't happen. we couldn't even charge people on wall street for what they did to ruin the worlds economy in the great recession. no way this would be more than a financial slap on the wrist  @tante @DJGummikuh Damn! Is it wrong that all I really care about in this is whether my years of WP content that almost nobody reads will survive? |
